Men’s Mental Wellbeing
After several of the men who have come to work with me said, Dre I feel so much better. You should be marketing directly to men about men’s functional mental health, I said, OK! And now here we are.
What I’m learning is that you’re feeling a toll, a cost being taken on your mind, body, soul & relationships.
What I feel is a toxic glorification of masculine energy in our world (the go, go, go, do, do, do, keep it together, be strong, never show weakness, always have the answers at all costs & never look back). I feel the conflicting messages of a societal engine & its people who want you to constantly be emotionally sensitive & vulnerable & present to the needs of other’s. What about yours?
Men find this functional approach to their mental wellbeing grounding, energizing & transformative.
Often a quiet, slow moving process — it’s one that will allow you to finally let go, relax & just be with yourself. In these moments you can hear your own answers often without having to say a word or explain things in great detail.
