What is TRE®?
TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) is a simple yet powerful somatic practice that helps your body naturally release deep tension, stress, & trauma.
Through a series of gentle movements & mild muscle activation, TRE® invites your body into a state of neurogenic tremoring—a natural shaking response that animals & humans alike use to release excess energy after stress or threat. This innate reflex helps discharge the “fight or flight” energy stored in the nervous system, gently bringing your body back to its natural rhythm & balance.
Over time, chronic stress and unresolved trauma can show up as physical tension, emotional overwhelm, & patterns that feel hard to shift. TRE® works from the inside out, helping to unwind holding patterns, soften deep layers of tension, & support the restoration of your body’s natural flow & vitality.
